Hungarian Mayors Want To Block Soros From Setting Up Offices Across The Country

In Uncategorized on .

The head of the Association of County Seats (MJVSZ) Karoly Szita said that 2018 will be a decisive year for Europe, Hungary and the Hungarian towns, because “Brussels wants to accept the mandatory relocation quotas before the summer, and wants to speed up family re-unification of migrants”.

The major of Kaposvar in south-western Hungary spoke at a conference organised by Hungarian mayors, who want to prevent George Soros’s Open Society Foundations from setting up offices across the country. According to the mayors, these offices would serve the NGOs’ goal to implement Soros’s migration plan.

Ten mayors spoke at the conference, most of them politicians of the ruling Fidesz-KDNP alliance. Opposition parties Egyutt and Momentum protested the event.

The deputy state secretary for religious, ethnic and social relations, Miklos Soltesz told Hungarian daily Magyar Hirlap that the mayors have the right to implement measures against pro-immigration organizations, in order to protect the citizens.
